Health shapes composure.
Composure shapes leadership.
Leadership shapes culture.
For more than twenty years I have worked as CEO, CFO and interim executive – in healthcare, industry, energy and professional services, in Germany and internationally.
One thing has stayed with me: the quality of a decision depends less on the information available than on the state of the people who make it. That is where my work begins.
Three themes that belong together – and that I do not separate.
Not a wellness topic. Sleep, recovery and self-regulation decide how people lead when pressure rises.
Leadership begins where certainty ends. It creates orientation, trust and structures in which people can take responsibility.
Technology should not accelerate people further. It should give them time, orientation and the freedom to decide.
Health shapes self-regulation. Self-regulation shapes composure. Composure shapes leadership. Leadership shapes culture – and culture decides how technology is used. Technology changes work, and work shapes health again.
My work is aligned with national strategies that put health, wellbeing and responsible AI at the centre:
The organisations through which this line becomes practice.
Knowledge, processes and data brought together, so that people see earlier where action is needed – and decide on solid ground.

“We need communities whose members invite, encourage and inspire one another to grow beyond themselves.”Gerald Hüther (translated)
Because I share its conviction: people unfold their potential in communities that invite and encourage – not under pressure.
